Leona Maguire's scoring average of 69.68 one of lowest in NCAA history
DURHAM, North Carolina – Coming off winning back-to-back tournaments, the eighth-ranked Duke women's golf team is preparing for the NCAA Regional Selection show Thursday, April 27 at 11 a.m., live on Golf Channel. The Blue Devils will receive their 25th consecutive bid to play in NCAA Regional action Thursday and will travel to either Columbus, Ohio, Lubbock, Texas, Athens, Ga., or Albuquerque, N.M. The regional dates are May 8-10.

A native of Cavan, Ireland, Maguire is also ranked No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and is having one of the best seasons in Blue Devil history. She currently features a 69.68 stroke average, which is one of the lowest in NCAA history. Maguire has also registered three victories and eight top 10 finishes in eight tournaments.
