MANY CONGRATS TO DEBBIE PERN AT DEESIDE GOLF CLUB

Many congratulations to Debbie who has passed her final exams and is now a fully qualified Certified Club Manager (CCM).
The CCM qualification is the premier accreditation in the industry and Debbie has become one of only forty Club Managers in Europe to receive this designation; and only one of two ladies, the other being Silvia Serramo at Valderamma in Spain.
Debbie began the journey towards this qualification in 2013 balancing her duties at Deeside with studies through various levels of the programme, sitting her first exam in October 2013 with the final one earlier this month.
Her qualification as a CCM is a huge accolade for Debbie and also for Deeside Golf Club and I am sure you will join me in extending our congratulations for this tremendous achievement.

Debbie joined Deeside Golf Club in September 2004. Previously she had worked at Craibstone Golf Centre and this coupled with many years’ experience in catering industry were invaluable in recruiting, training and developing a new team. 

In December 2004 the relocation to a new clubhouse – the largest single change in the Clubs 101 year history was managed and controlled by Debbie. 

The universally acclaimed success of the new premises owes much to Debbie’s infectious enthusiasm and management skills.

Debbie finds the time to  play golf. She was awarded the Club Manager of the Year in 2014 by the GCMA 

She also sings with the Aberdeen Chorus – Sweet Adelines International.
