NICOLA, SAMANTHA NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE PERFORMERS

BRISTOL, Tennessee. – Prior to the start of the Conference Carolinas Men's and Women's Golf Championship, the league announced their academic all-conference performers. The King University men's golf team had one player recognized while the women's team had two players earn the distinction.

On the women's side, both Nicola Robertson from Dunblane and Samantha Taylor from Newcastle earned honours.

Robertson carries a GPA of 3.62 while Taylor is at 3.49. On the course, Robertson owns a stroke average of 79.19 with two top 10 finishes while Taylor has an average of 80.13, finishing in the top 10 once.

To be selected academic all-conference, student-athletes have to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The GPA is calculated based on the student-athlete's cumulative average through the previous semester.

Academic All-Conference Teams are comprised of juniors and seniors who play in at least one of Conference Carolina's twenty sponsored sports, and who have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
