OLIVIA FINISHES T22 IN PACE-12 WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
Olivia Mehaffey, after a stabilising round of 71 in the second round, went off the rails again in round 2 of the Pac-12 Women's Championship at Sewailo Golf Club, Tucson in Arizona.
The GB and I international player shot a 77 which had back-to-back double bogeys - a 6 at the ninth and a 7 at the 10th - in halves of 39-38, which included birdies at the first, eighth and 16th at the par-72, 6,583yd course.
Olivia's total of 228 (80-71-77) gave her a share of 22nd place behind the runaway winner (by six shots), Lilia Vu (UCLA), with rounds of 72, 66 and 72 for 209.
UCLA team-mate Mariel Galdiano (73-73-69) finished second on 215.
Not surprisingly, UCLA (862) won the team title by 21 shots from runners-up Colorado with Stanford (884) third.
Arizona State (895) finished sixth of the 11 teams.
