SCOTS WOMEN FINISH JT 7TH IN NATIONS CUP
Scotland - represented by Chloe Goadby (St Regulus), Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne) and Hannah McCook (Grantown on Spey) - finished joint seventh in a field of 10 countries at the European Nations Cup women's golf team tournament at Sotogrande, Spain today (Saturday).
The Scots had a 72-hole aggregate of 616 - 14 behind the title winners, the Netherlands who scraped home by one stroke from runners-up Denmark.
Chloe Goadby, who led the individual women's competition at one stage, subsided with rounds of 72, 74, 79 and 81 to a final place of ninth, seven behind the winner, Chloe Salort (France).
