Aboyne's Kimberley Beveridge, a student at Tyler Junior College, Texas, shot a 79 to be in joint 18th position in a field of 120 at the end of the first round of the NJCAA Women's National College Championship at Chateau Elan Resort, Braselton, Georgia.

She is eight strokes behind the leader behind the leader by four, Peerada Paddon (Barton County College).
