WOMEN'S COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH-PLAY
Gillian Mackenzie (Banchory) is top seed for this weekend's Aberdeenshire women's county championship after four players had the lowest qualifying score of 79 at today's (Fri) qualifying round at Cruden Bay.
Gillian had a better inward half (36) than five times champion Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies) (39), Jill Harrison (Cruden Bay) and Vikki Thom (Kemnay).
Sammy Leslie (Kemnay), bidding to win the title for the third time in a row and the fourth in past five years, qualified with an 81.
