SCOTS FINISH WELL UP IN SLOVENIA CHAMPIONSHIP

SCOTS TO THE FORE IN SLOVENIA AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

All four Scots in the field finished in the top 13 at the Slovenian international women's amateur 72-hole championship at Livada Golf Club.

In a tight finish, Gemma Batty (Moffat) finished joint third, one shot behind the joint winners, Pia Babnik (Slovenia) (71-74-73-78) and Bulgaria's Sofia Seldemirova (74-73-76-73), on 296.

Batty had rounds of 76, 72, 73 and 76 for 297.

Chloe Goadby (St Regulus) shared sixth place with Tara Mactaggart (Minto) on 302. Chloe scored 76, 71, 76 and 79, while Tara had rounds of 75, 76, 75 and 76.

Jennifer Saxton (Muckhart) finished joint 13th on 308 with rounds of 72, 79, 73 and 72.
