THOMPSON WINS NORTHERN COUNTIES TITLE FOR SEVENTH TIME
Cara Thompson has won the Northern Counties women's county championship for a seventh time today (Sunday) at Tain Golf Club.
The leading qualifier, Cara beat Kerri Harper (Inverness) at the 19th in a classic final which could have gone either way.
Fiona Brand won the handicap title over her home course. She beat Susan Mackenzie (Elgin) by one hole in the final.
