Shannon McWilliam just makes top 20 on first

Aboyne's Shannon McWilliam shared 19th place with England's Annabell Fuller at the end of today's (Tues) first round in the 54-hole Annika Invitational Europe junior tournament at Halmstad Golf Club, Sweden.
Shannon's three-over-par round of 75 had birdies at the third, 11th and 17th in halves of 39-36. She bogeyed the first, fifth, sixth, ninth, 12th and 13th.
Swedish players dominated the leaderboard with Ingrid Lindblad sharing the lead with Italy's Caterina Don, and four Swedes, including Linn Grant, whose grandfather came from Inverness and won the Scottish boys championship in 1958 before turning pro and taking up a club post in Sweden.
