North of Scotland women's championship at Kemnay
Gillian Paton beats Kimberley Beveridge and
plays Eilidh Watson in final

Top seed Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne) was beaten 3 and 2 by Angus county champion Gillian Paton, the fourth best qualifier, in this morning's semi-finals of the North of Scotland women's amateur championship at Kemnay Golf Club.
In this afternoon's 18-hole final, Paton will play the No 2 seed Eilidh Watson who beat Muckhart clubmate, Jen Saxton, by one hole in the other semi-final.
The handicap final will be between leading net qualifier Linda Bell (Kemnay), who plays off 20, and former Aberdeenshire county secretary Mary Robinson (Murcar Links), who has a handicap of 16.
