PITLOCHRY LADIES HIGHLAND OPEN MATCH PLAY QUALIFIERS

Defending champion Eilidh Watson top qualifier at Pitlochry Ladies Highland Open

Weather for the Pitlochry Ladies Highland Open second qualifying round was in sharp contrast to Tuesday with a cold, bitter wind. This was reflected in the scores.
Eilidh Watson (Muckhart GC), the leading qualifier for the match-play stages, top posted a 1 over par round of 73 followed by Louise Fraser (Kingsknowe GC) on 77. Eilidh and Louise were the only two players to break 80.
Another impressive round of 82 in trying conditions came from 15yr old Mollie O’Brian from Reay GC. She qualified in sixth place.
