CRAIL GIRL FINISHES T6 IN ENGLISH UNDER-14 OPEN EVENT
Anna McKay (Crail GS) finished tied sixth with two rounds of 77 in the English Under-14 girls' open golf championship at Blackmoor Golf Club.
Rachel Foster (Turnberry) and Eilidh Henderson (Loretto School) missed the halfway cut the leading 18 players and ties with rounds of 78 and 82 respectively.
Charlotte Cattaneo from Italy won the championship by one stroke with scores of 77 and 71.
In the Under-16s tournament at the same venue, Evanna Hynd (Balbirnie Park) finished 27th with scores of 74, 80 and 80 for 154.
The title was won by Annabell Fuller (Roehampton) who beat Thalia Kirby (Harleyford) at the first hole of a sudden death play-off after they had tied on 213.
Annabell had rouns of 69, 75 and 69, Thalia 70, 68 and 75.
