Emma Logie (Buckpool) wins the Northern Counties Junior Championship

The 2017 Northern Counties girls championship was played at Forres Golf Club on Sunday 27th August, with 11 girls playing 18 holes and 5 girls playing a fun 9 hole event.

17 year old Emma Logie from Buckpool, who won the 2016 handicap title, is the new Northern Counties scratch champion after a gross 78. 

Runner up was Sarah Westwood, Elgin with 84. Northern Counties handicap champion is Katrina Tan, Nairn (24) with a net 69 and runner up was her younger sister Emily Tan, Nairn (26) with net 72.
