HANNAH DARLING WINS U14s' GIRLS TITLE BY FIVE SHOTS

Scottish U18 girls champion Hannah Darling (Broomieknowe) outclassed the field to win the Loretto School Scottish Under-14 girls' open championship at Crail Golfing Society's Craighead course, Fife.
Hannah shot a pair of 73s for a total of two-under-par 146 over the par 74 lay-out.
She had 10 birdies over the 36 holes - four in the first round and six in the second.
But for a double bogey 6 at the 16th in her second round she would have won even more convincingly.
Wales' Ffion Tynan (Minchinhampton) was runner-up, five strokes behind Hannah, with scores of 76 and 75 for 151.
Eilidh Henderson (Loretto School) was another three shots back in third place of 154 with rounds of 79 and 75.

Victory too for Italian Sebastiano Frau in the boys' event.

The Under-12 honours in the Boys went to Doncaster’s Joshua Berry with scores of 72 and 79, and Grace Crawford from Gullane Golf Club won the Girls U12 with scores of 85 and 86.
