Ellen Hutchison-Kay was the star performer during the first and second rounds of match play in the Girls British Open Amateur Championship at Enville today (Thursday).
The Swede notched up two resounding 7 and 6 victories, beating Switzerland's Chloe Grand in her last 64 tie before defeating French youngster Lilas Pinthier to reach Friday's third round.

"I played very well and holed a lot of birdies and long putts", said Hutchison-Kay.
"I got into a good rhythm and hope to continue tomorrow. The course is in great condition, I really like it and it fits my game really well.
"I want to win the championship and I'm going to keep my focus on getting near to the pin and making good birdies."
Family duel denied
Samantha Fuller was also a stand-out performer. After overcoming Italian Maeve Rossi 4 and 3 in the first round, the England international went on to achieve a fine 7 and 6 win in the second round over Scotland's Shannon McWilliam, the leading player from stroke play qualifying.
The 18-year-old Samantha , who will set off to start her university studies after the championship, was motivated by the prospect of setting up an all-family affair against younger sister Annabell, in the next round.
However, it wasn't to be for the Fullers as Annabell lost on the second extra hole to Tereza Kozeluhuva of Czech Republic.
"I putted really well and felt like I holed everything", said Fuller. "My putting was great and I was really pumped for this afternoon. I felt bad for Shannon as everything went my way.
"I'm ready for the next round and whatever happens, happens. I'm going out to win".
Humphries confident
Fuller's international team-mate Lily May Humphries continued the strong showing from the England contingent through to the match play stage with two excellent victories. The 15-year-old beat Spain's Carolina Lopez-Chacarra 4 and 3 followed by a 6 and 5 success against Jessica Bailey.
"It was a very enjoyable match this afternoon and I played much better than this morning. I was solid off the tee and my short game has been good all day", said Humphries.
"I got to the quarter-finals last year and I'd like to get to the final this week. I'm confident I can win big matches and get the job done."
Wardle bows out
Last year's runner-up Isobel Wardle fell short of her target of reaching the final for a second successive year, losing to Mimi Rhodes in a comprehensive 6 and 5 second -ound defeat.
There were also good wins for Lucie Malchirand (4 and 3 against Emily Price) and Paula Kirner (3 and 2 against Carys Worby) and they will take their place in the third round.
Defending champion in good shape
In the last match out on the course, defending champion Emilie Paltrinieri was three up after nine holes against Germany's Sarina Schmidt and clinched victory on the inward half.
