SCOTS WOMEN BEAT WALES BUT FINISH THIRD
Scotland scored their first win of the Women's Home Internationals this week, beating Wales 6.5-2.5 at Little Aston Golf Club but finished third in the table.
The Scots established a 2pt lead in the morning foursomes and then took the singles 4-2 with wins by Hannah McCook, Eilidh Briggs and Gemma Batty. Connie Jaffrey and Shannon McWilliam halved their singles tites.
Ireland retained the title by beating England 5-4.
