SHANNON McWILLIAM LEADING QUALIFIER FOR BRITISH GIRLS' MATCH-PLAY
Aboyne's Shannon McWilliam earned top seed status for the match-play stages of the British U18 girls' championship match-play stages at Enville Golf Club.
She had rounds of 70 and 71 for a three-under-par total of 141, finishing a shot ahed of Caroline Hermes (Germany) (71-71) and Euphemie Rhodes (Burnham and Berrow) (71-71).
The only other Scot to make the leading 64 and ties qualifiers was Hazel McGarvie (Troon Ladies) in joint 48th position on 151 with rounds of 72 and 79.
Scots who did not make the limit mark of 152 were Jasmine Mackintosh (Hazlehead) (78-81 for 159) and Louise Duncan (West Kilbride) (82-80 for 162).
