Sal Shepherd and Karen Ballantyne (the newly appointed SVLGA Vice Captain) were the winners of both the scratch and handicap trophies in yesterday's SVLGA Greensomes on the Lansdowne course at Blairgowrie GC.  The pair were representing the East Vets.

Karen said "Brilliant two days, awesome display of driving by Sal Shepherd was the key to the double win. Think the Craigmillar Park juniors inspired us to bring home some more silverware. Honoured to be appointed Vice Captain to the SVLGA team. Looking forward to my four years with the talented Scottish Vets."

Sal was over the moon in winning and said " My new SVLGA VC, always my hero KB. Great couple of days at BGC with the fabulous auld dears of Scottish golf."
