HOLLIE'S TOP 20 FINISH HELPS DAYTONA STATE WIN TITLE
Hollie Muse from Lancashire, a student at Daytona State College, finished T18 in a field of 49 players at the Xavier Invitational women's college tournament at LPGA International Hills Course, Daytona Beach in Florida.
Over a par-72 course of 6,167yd, Hollie had fluctuating rounds of 80, 69 and 83 for 232. In her final round, she had a triple bogey 8 at the eighth and no birdies in halves of 44-39.
Paige Kemp (Stetson University), Essex born but whose mother comes from Stirling, finished 28th on 234 with improving rounds of 80, 78 and 76 for 234.
Hollie Muse's effort helped Daytona State College win the team title by six strokes from Stetson with third placed Seminole State (922), 30 shots behind Stetson in a field of eight teams.
