LEONA MAGUIRE CLICKETY CLOCKS TO LEAD BY TWO AT TAR HEEL INVITE

Leona Maguire from Ireland, a student at Duke University, shot a bogey-free, six-birdie round of 66 for a 36-hole tally of nine-under-par 135 to establish a two-stroke lead with one round to go in the Tar Heel Invite women's college tournament at the University of North Carolina's Finley course at Chapel Hill.

Leona birdied the third, fourth, eighth - out in 33 - the 13th, 16th and 17th - home in 33. In second place on 137 after scores of 70 and 67 is Ainhoa Olarra (South Carolina). GB and I international player India Clyburn dropped down to a T32 placing on 145 after rounds of 69 and 76. She had a double bogey 6 at the 10 and three bogeys in her second round. India's only birdie came at the 18th.

There is a field of 96 players and 18 teams competing over a par 72 course of 6,379yd. Duke (554) lead by 10 shots from Alabama with North Carolina Statre (572) in joint fifth place.
