Curtis Cup team place contender Lily May Humphreys (15) from Sudbury, Suffolk, finished joint fourth in the prestigious American amateur women's tournament, the Dixie Amateur, at Woodlands Country Club, Tamarac, Florida after leading through the first two rounds of the 72-hole event.

She scored 68, 68, 74 and 71 for a seven-under-par total of 281.
Another English player, Annabell Fuller, finished joint 10th on 286 with scores of 74, 70, 70 and 72.
Yujeong Son, 16, from Norman, Oklahoma, retained the title with rounds of 72, 67, 68 and 68 for a 13-under-par total of 275 and a three-shot victory margin
