MESSAGE FROM PAST SLGA PRESIDENT / LGU CHAIRMAN JANET BROWN WHO IS DOWN UNDER

I met up with Gabrielle Macdonald briefly before she started her 1st round at Lake Karrinyup GC. 

I wasn't able to follow her as I was recording, but she recovered her shaky start with 4 birdies at the start of the second nine.

She is playing a second round at Wanaroo GC today (in the rain!) and I hope she qualifies!

We are both on holiday here! My daughter and family are all members at Karrinyup and she lives by the side of the course. Rather nice to be involved again!

Looks as if Gabrielle is in a play off  -- Top 32 go thro' -- She was equal 30th (4 on that) so hopefully she can make it   -- CLICK HERE FOR ALL SCORES   -- Unfortunately she missed the cut in the playoff
