INDIA SLUMPS IN FINAL ROUND OF LADY PUERTO RICO CLASSIC

Clyburn, from Cleethorpes and a student at North Carolina State University, was in the mix after a pair of 73s in a high-scoring tournament but she was unable to mount a challenge on the final day.
She had a double bogey 5 at the short 16th and seven bogeys which birdies at the fifth and 13th could not cancel out.
Clyburn, younger sister of LET player Holly, finished eight strokes behind the winner, all-the-way leader Maria Fassi (Arkansas University) who finished a three-over-par 216 with rounds of 68, 75 and 73. She won by gthree strokes from celia Arozamena (Iowa State) (74-74-74 for 219).
Arkansas (882) won the team title by 10 strokes from Iowa State with Kent State (897) third and North Carolina State (904) fourth in a field of 11 teams.
